Three Arrested in Extortion Case Across Srinagar and Ganderbal Districts

Three individuals have been taken into custody by the Crime Branch of Jammu and Kashmir following a series of searches conducted in Srinagar and Ganderbal districts. The operation was launched in connection with FIR number 18/2026, which has been registered under sections 204, 319(2), 308(2), 338 and 61 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Police officials said the sleuths of the Crime Branch visited multiple locations in both districts, gathering evidence and detaining the suspects. The arrests were made after the team identified individuals believed to be involved in the alleged extortion activities.
