Power cuts affected parts of Panchkula during a staff strike against privatisation called by the Haryana Bijli Karamchari and Engineers Sanyukt Sangharsh Morcha.
Parts of Panchkula were hit by power cuts amid a staff strike against privatisation.
The strike was called by the Haryana Bijli Karamchari and Engineers Sanyukt Sangharsh Morcha from October 22 to 24. Workers are opposing the decision to grant a power distribution licence to Eleven Power.
Electricity supply was disrupted in parts of the city during the strike period.
