Panchkula has only 51 public EV chargers, the fourth-lowest number in the state, as electric vehicle registrations remain low.
Between January and September 2026, only 154 pure EVs were registered in Panchkula compared to 11,161 vehicles of all categories.
The low number of chargers and EV registrations reflects the slow adoption of electric vehicles in the region, amid a green push.
