Chief minister Bhagwant Mann announced the start of the Maavan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana, with the first instalment set to be credited on July 1.
Chief minister Bhagwant Mann announced on Sunday that the countdown for the ‘Maavan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana’ has begun, with the first instalment of three months’ “satkar rashi” set to be credited directly into the bank accounts of eligible women on July 1.
The scheme is part of the state government’s initiative to provide monetary benefits to women.
The first instalment, covering a three‑month period, will be transferred straight to the beneficiaries’ accounts, ensuring a transparent process.
The rollout will be managed by the state government through its existing administrative channels, with the relevant departments overseeing verification of eligibility and the execution of the direct credit.
The announcement marks the start of the scheme’s rollout.
The initiative underscores the government’s broader welfare strategy, which includes direct financial assistance to women as part of its broader effort to support women’s empowerment and financial inclusion.
