The High Court has cleared the way for Mann’s trade promotion visit to France, linked to MARKFED’s participation in the SIAL 2026 food show in Paris.
The Punjab High Court has cleared the way for Mann’s trade promotion visit to France, removing the legal and procedural obstacles that had been in place.
The visit is linked to the participation of the Punjab State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Ltd (MARKFED), the state’s apex cooperative, in the international food trade show SIAL 2026, scheduled to be held in Paris from October 17 to October 21.
Trade promotion context
SIAL is one of the world’s largest food industry exhibitions, bringing together producers, exporters and policymakers from around the globe.
MARKFED’s involvement in the event aims to showcase Punjab’s agricultural and food processing capabilities to international buyers.
The High Court’s decision enables the delegation to travel without further administrative hindrance, allowing the trade mission to proceed as planned.
