Punjab bandh: Key Mohali roads blocked, delivery services hit

Punjab on Thursday observed a statewide bandh called in response to the murder of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota in Mansa, resulting in the blocking of key roads in Mohali and disruption to delivery services.

The shutdown began on Thursday, affecting key roads in Mohali and causing delays for delivery services.

A bandh is a form of protest shutdown commonly used in India to press political or social demands, and the call in this case was made following the killing of the activist.
